    Terms of Service

Institute of Business Brokers Ghana Ltd (IBB)

    Last updated: August 2026

    1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by Institute of Business Brokers Ghana Ltd ("IBB", "we", "us", or "our") at ibbghana.com (the "Website"). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Our collection and use of personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

    2. About Our Services

IBB provides business brokerage, valuation, accounting, auditing, tax advisory, HR consulting, and insurance brokerage services in Ghana. The Website describes these services and provides ways to get in touch with us, including contact forms, a referral form, and a careers application form.

Certain services described on the Website are rendered through sister firms rather than directly by IBB: accounting and audit through KAP Chartered Accountants, insurance placement through Pacific Insurance Brokers, and legal matters through Okyere Consult. See our Partners page for details. Where a service is rendered through a sister firm, that firm's own terms may also apply to the specific work it carries out for you.

The Website is informational. Submitting an enquiry, a referral, or a job application through the Website does not, by itself, create a client relationship, an engagement, or any contractual obligation between you and IBB. A formal engagement begins only once we have agreed on its scope and terms directly with you, typically in writing.

    3. No Professional Advice

Content on the Website, including service descriptions, blog articles, and FAQ answers, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not, and should not be relied on as, financial, tax, legal, valuation, or investment advice for your specific circumstances.

Decisions about buying, selling, valuing, or restructuring a business, or about tax and regulatory positions, should be made only after direct engagement with us or another qualified professional who has reviewed your specific situation.

    4. Acceptable Use

When using the Website, you agree not to:

    • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form
    • Use the Website in any way that violates applicable Ghanaian or international law
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its underlying systems, or data belonging to other users
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Website's operation, including through excessive automated requests
    • Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Website's content without our written permission
    • Use the contact, referral, or careers forms to send unsolicited commercial messages

    5. Forms, Submissions, and the Referral Program

When you submit information through a form on the Website, you confirm that the information is accurate and, where it concerns a third party (for example, a referral), that you have that person's permission to share it with us on the terms described in our Privacy Policy.

Participating in our referral program does not itself guarantee any fee, commission, or other reward. Any incentive arrangement is only binding if separately confirmed with you in writing.

Job applications submitted through the Careers page are reviewed at our discretion. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, a response, or an offer of employment.

    6. Intellectual Property

The Website, including its text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by IBB or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Website's content for any other purpose without our prior written consent.

Partner and affiliate logos displayed on the Website remain the property of their respective owners and are used with permission to indicate our business relationships.

    7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may link to, or embed content from, third-party services, for example, an interactive map or a partner organization's website. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Accessing a third-party link is at your own discretion and risk, and that third party's own terms and privacy policy will apply.

    8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take reasonable care to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranty that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete or up to date at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Website and its use.

    9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IBB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

    10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold IBB, its officers, directors, employees, and sister firms harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal costs, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or content you submit through it.

    11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

    12. Entire Agreement; No Waiver

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IBB regarding use of the Website, and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject. If we do not act on a breach of these Terms, that does not waive our right to act on a later one, and no waiver is effective unless given in writing.

    13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
