Company Registration & Corporate Secretarial Services

Company formation and ongoing corporate secretarial support to keep a Ghanaian company in good standing.

Incorporation is the straightforward part. Staying compliant afterwards (annual returns, statutory registers, filings when directors or shareholding change) is where companies quietly fall out of good standing, usually discovering it at the point they need to prove otherwise to a bank or a buyer.

We handle formation and the recurring corporate secretarial obligations that follow, so that the company's record is in order when someone finally checks it. Legal work beyond company secretarial filing, such as contract drafting and disputes, is handled by our sister firm, Okyere Consult.

    Common questions

What do I need to register a company in Ghana?
Broadly: a proposed name for clearance, details of directors, shareholders and the company secretary, a registered address, and the stated business activities, together with a Tax Identification Number for the relevant parties. We confirm the current requirements and prepare the filings.
Our annual returns are overdue. Can that be fixed?
Yes. Lapsed filings can generally be brought up to date, though penalties may apply for the period of default. Addressing it sooner limits the exposure.
